Cheryl Lynn Dorsey

Cheryl Lynn Dorsey, age 65, of Buford, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Mrs. Dorsey was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Clyde Faulkner; brothers, Mitchell Faulkner, and Rodney Faulkner; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Dorsey; sister-in-law, Sally Dorsey.  She is survived by her husband, Timothy Dorsey; daughters, Alelicia (David) Cook, and Audrey (Elijah) Brown; grandchildren, Daisja Cook, Emersyn Brown, Easton Brown; brother, Barry Faulkner; sister, Karen (Leroy) Henderson; sister-in-law, Sylvia Dorsey; brother-in-law, Kenneth Dorsey.
Mrs. Dorsey was born on November 16, 1958 in Duluth, GA.  She was a 1976 graduate of Buford High School.  Mrs. Dorsey retired from Lucent Technologies with over 24 years of service.  She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  Cheryl was a wonderful cook and loved dancing and spending time with her family. 
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford, GA.  A Wake will be held on Friday evening, September 20, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
