Betty Monday Sewell

Betty Monday Sewell, 97, of Gainesville, GA passed away Friday, September 13, 2024.

She was born February 15, 1927, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Raymond and Pauline Monday.  She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Sewell and her second husband, Floyd Smith, sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Jake Casey, brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Betty Monday, all of Atlanta, Georgia, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Jim Garner of Alpharetta, Georgia.

Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dan Garner, daughter, Dawn Sewell, all of Gainesville, Georgia, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Neil Naples of Vero Beach, Florida, grandchildren, Kim and Michael Williams of Evans, GA, Stephanie and Phillip Marsh, Dona Price, Dana and Terry Carr all of Gainesville, GA, Carla and Jeff Meehan of Bogart, GA, Scott Moore of Thomson, GA and 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. A number of nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

Visitation will be held at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Sunday September 22 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A short memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Taylor officiating.
