Carl L. "Mack" McAdams, Jr.

Carl L. “Mack” McAdams, Jr., age 79, of Hiawassee, GA, formerly of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mabel McAdams; brothers, George McAdams and James McAdams. Mr. McAdams is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Bradley McAdams; children, Tony (Cristy) McAdams of Suwanee, GA, Angie (Patrick) Puckett of Buford, GA, Lisa (Shawn) Pickens of Hiawassee, GA; grandchildren, Lindsey, Gabrielle, Cameron, Nate, Mason, Abbey; brother, Andy (Sandy) McAdams of Loganville, GA; sister, Sarah Folsom of Lilburn, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. McAdams was born on October 5, 1944 in Providence, RI and graduated from Lilburn High School, Lilburn, GA.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. Mr. McAdams owned A 1 National Sewer and Drain Company, Lilburn, GA for 42 years. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Sugar Hill, GA; was a Mason and member of Sweetwater Lodge 421 F&AM and loved hunting and fishing. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Justin Page. Interment will follow the service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors and a Masonic Service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee St., Buford, GA.
