Virginia "Ginny" Louise Milone

Obituary Date: Wednesday, September 4, 2024

Virginia “Ginny” Louise Milone, 76, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at home following a brief illness.

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Milone. Born in Queens NY in 1948, Ginny was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Heckel. In her early adult years, she moved to New Jersey where she raised her family. She later relocated to Florida and
then finally settled in Hoschton, Georgia.

Ginny was the loving mother of Francis J. Piccione III and his wife Kimberly of New Hampshire and Mark T. Piccione and his wife Jenny of Florida; beloved grandmother of Olivia, Thomas,Kaylin, and Lian; sister of John Heckel of Florida, Susan Riccio of Arizona, and Nancy Keegan of Georgia; and devoted companion of John Underwood of Georgia. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Along with her kind nature, many will remember Ginny for her enjoyment for cooking, traveling, and dancing. Furthermore, she was an active participant in the Deaton Creek community and took pleasure in gathering with her close friends; but her greatest pride and joy came from spending time with her family, especially her adored grandchildren.

Always thoughtful, outgoing, caring, and loving, Ginny held a special place in all of our hearts. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date for family and friends.
