Frankie Lorraine Wise

Mrs. Frankie Lorraine Wise, 83, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Rodney Helton will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on May 2, 1941 in Blairsville, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Nola Self Collins. She was retired from Wrigley’s where she was a machine operator.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Wise; daughter, Sandra Hankins; Brothers, Royce Collins, Edward Collins, Francis Collins; sisters, Leona Tanner, Mae Masterson and great grandson, Ivan Wytiaz.

Mrs. Wise is survived by her daughter and son in law, Wanda  and Don Graessle of Lexington, KY; daughter, Sarah Hoopaugh of Lula; son, James Hoopaugh of Jefferson; sister, Hazel Daniel of Gainesville; grandchildren, Bryan Wytiaz, Craig, Wytiaz, Russell Cantrell, Andrew Payne, Daneka Hoopaugh; 13 great grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives; her best friend/dog, Rambo.
