Audrey Elizabeth Allison Davis

Mrs. Audrey Elizabeth Allison Davis, age 91, of Cleveland passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024.  

Mrs. Davis was born in Atlanta, GA on February 7,1933 to the late William Noah Allison and Verla Nix Allison.  Mrs. Davis was a long-time member of Antioch Baptist Church, and she enjoyed the time she spent performing with her late husband and late daughter in The Davis Trio.  She was a homemaker and helped her husband on their poultry farm.  Mrs. Davis will be remembered as a loving, caring, independent, and soft-spoken lady.  In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Jack J. Davis; daughter, Diane Davis; brothers; Charles Allison and Marvin Allison; sisters; Agnes Jarrard and Wilma Saxon. 

She is survived by daughter; Renee Lewis, sons and daughters in law; Bryan and Karen Davis, and Michael and Susan Davis; grandchildren; Jordan and Marissa Davis, Emily and Matt Green, Brooke and Adam Kennedy, William and Courtney Lewis, Austin and Sydney Davis, and Daniel Lewis; great grandchildren; Sawyer Kennedy, Karsyn Kennedy, Harley Green, Ella Green, Major Lewis, and Tony Lewis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 9, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Phillip Robinson and the Rev. Matt Pruitt will officiate.  Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
