Alesha Brookshire

Alesha Brookshire, 62, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Born June 11, 1962 in Cumming, GA to the late Roy and Joann Bruce, she had lived in Dawsonville most of her life.  Alesha was formerly employed at Ingles and at Wilkes Meat Market.  She was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandson, Waylon Brookshire.  She enjoyed spending time on the river, visiting Helen, Georgia and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her sons and daughters in law, Roger and Jennifer Brookshire, Dawsonville, Chris and Rondlynn Brookshire, Easley, SC, Casey and Brittany Brookshire, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Eric Brookshire, Bethany Brookshire, Cohen Brookshire, Kenleigh Brookshire, Case Brookshire; sister, Darla Ash; and brother, Randy Bruce.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 3 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. L. C. Bennett and Rev. Jason Cook will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
