Jack Dillard was born on June 6th, 1944, to his Mother Goldie Mae Hayes in Oglethorpe, Georgia. He moved to Dahlonega, Georgia where he resided for over 40+ years. Jack Dillard departed this life on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was preceded in death by his brother’s Tom and George. We bid farewell to our father, uncle, cousin and friend. A pillar of strength and a beacon of love, his absence leaves a void in our hearts. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed. He leaves to cherish his memory: His special companion, Ms. Evie Jackson of Dahlonega, Georgia, Sister; Barbara Hayes of Athens, Georgia, Children; Julius Pitts, Shatisha Dillard, Tony Dillard and Shamira Green, Grandchildren; the late Jada Johnson, Amir and Tyler Warren, Prince Dillard, Amias and A’skyyla Green, Great Grandson; Terrence Hill II, Stepchildren; Tiffany Jackson, Shaekeria Cooke, Antonio and Rachael Jackson, Five Step Grandchildren; Seven nephews; Two nieces, and a host of other close cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Garden View Funeral Chapel, Athens, Georgia on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM. The visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Wimberly Funeral Home between the hours of 12 PM to 8:00 PM. Family will receive friends during the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
