Bell Elinburg Maddox

Mrs. Bell Elinburg Maddox, age 95, of Alto, GA (formerly of Buford, GA), passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. S. Maddox; parents, Lee and Alma Holman Elinburg; brother, Larry Elinburg. Mrs. Maddox is survived by her son, Kent (Barbara) Maddox of Cleveland, GA; granddaughter, Alicia Maddox of Cumming, GA; nephews, Scott Elinburg, Michael Elinburg, Horace (Barbara) Mddox of Jefferson, GA, Larry (Jackie) Maddox of Buford, GA, David Phillips of Toccoa, GA, Donnie Maddox of Florida; several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Maddox was born on January 16, 1929 in Buford, GA. She graduated from Sugar Hill High School. Mrs. Maddox was a member of B. C. Grant Baptist Church in Alto, GA, and a former member of Zion Hill Church, in Buford, GA. Mrs. Maddox was a homemaker.

A Private Interment will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with Rev. Scott Smith officiating.
