Delores Jean Anderson

Delores Jean Anderson, age 80, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on September 2, 2024. She was born on January 5, 1944, to the late Walter Sutton and the late Gean Brookshire. Delores is preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Abercrombie, and her sister Janice Seabolt.

Delores is survived by her husband, Robert Anderson; her children Stacy Abercrombie, Sonya Abercrombie (Mike Kautz); step children, Billy Anderson, and Tommy Anderson; and grandchildren Andrew Cardno, Chloe (Matt) Smith, Josh (Bobbie) Abercrombie, and Jordan Abercrombie.

Delores had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing throughout her life. She cherished her friendships, especially with her many friends on Facebook. Delores was a faithful member of Cavender's Creek Baptist Church. Delores always had a great sense of humor. She Loved a good prank and always had people laughing. She enjoyed fast cars and having a good time. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the cemetery of Cavender Creek Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Stephen Adams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
