Peggy Lila Livingston Perrin Obituary - August 25, 2024 - Evans Funeral Home

It brings us all great sadness that we share in the pasing of Peggy Lila Livingston Perrin on August 25, 2024. At the young age of 89, she left us dealing with Uterine Cancer. Ms. Peggy was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, May 8, 1935. Her father was Jimmie Livingston, and her mother was Margaret Reid Livingston. Ms. Peggy also had a brother, Jimmie Livingston III that had passed when he was seventeen years of age.

In 1948 her family moved to Daytona Beach, Florida where she attended Sea Breeze High School in Ormond Beach and met her future husband Fred Perrin and they both graduated together in 1953.

Ms. Peggy went on to college to become a wonderful English Teacher. She was a teacher for 37 years. She first taught at Mainland Senior, then moved to Spruce Creek High when it opened.

Fred Perrin had become a Captain of the Daytona Beach Police Department. When Mr. Fred had passed in 1985, Ms Peggy decided to move to Georgia to be with her 3 adult children, William Scott, Patrick and Margaret Perrin. She left behind 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and teacher. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday September 6, 2024 at Hillside Cemetery 215 Seton Trail Ormond Beach, Florida 32176.
