Shirley Anglin Head

Shirley Anglin Head, age 81, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. She was preceded in death by husband, Jerald B Head; parents, J L and Addie Bel Anglin; and brother, Charles Anglin. Mrs. Head is survived by children, Steven and Jana Head of Buford, GA, Kevin Head of Dahlonega, Susan Head Mase of Dahlonega; eight grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother, Marvin (Ellen) Anglin of Dahlonega; sister, Joyce Anglin Dalton of Demorest, GA; sister-in-law, Hilda Anglin of Braselton, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Head was born on March 18, 1943 in Atlanta, GA. She graduated in 1960 from North Gwinnett High School and was a retired Underwriter for an insurance company. Mrs. Head was a member of New Prospect United Methodist Church in Buford.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with Mr. Larry Mase officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 1:30 p.m. until time for the service at 2:00 p.m.
