Jamie Wade

Mr. Jamie Wade, age 50, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at his residence following a sudden illness. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pastor Ryan Roberts and Reverend Adam Moody will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Wade was born September 9, 1973 in Gainesville, Georgia to James Edward Wade, Jr. and the late Dorothy “Lois” Morgan.  He was employed with Cottrell, Inc. and was a member of The Edge Church.  Jamie was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy “Lois” Morgan, his grandparents, Travis “Pop” Cantrell and Georgia Ann Cantrell, his uncle, Don Cantrell, his nephew, T. J. Cantrell, his niece, Brittany Berry and his father-in-law, Scott Atkins.

Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Tonya Wade of Clermont, his father & step-mother, Eddie & Tammie Wade of Milledgeville, his children, Jordan Charamond, Josiah Wade and Jonah Wade, all of Clermont, his God-daughter, Kylie Holloway of Cleveland, his spiritual children, Cole & Beth Lindsay of Paulding County, his spiritual grand-children, Carson Couch, River Lindsay and Rocky Lindsay, his brother & sister-in-law, Bert & Charlotte Cantrell of Cleveland, his step-brother, Lee Sanders of Eatonton, Georgia, his sister, Julie Wade of Eatonton, Georgia, his sister & brother-in-law, Misty & Cody Nguyen of Dahlonega, his brothers & sisters-in-law, Jason & Jeana Atkins of Gainesville and Kristopher & Jenny Paitsel of Gainesville, his Pastor Mama, Wanda Atkins of Gainesville, his nieces & nephews, Tiffany & Jarico Turner, Justin Berry, Jake & Arica Preising, Melanie Nguyen, Jacob Nguyen, Isaiah Paitsel, Isaac Paitsel, Wylee Ledford, Annah Ledford, Brentley Turner, Kinley Turner, Jolene Turner, Skylar Lavender, Haven Morgan and Russell Morgan and a number of cousins and other relatives.
