Judy Lavonia Banks

Judy Lavonia Banks, age 74, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bunyan and Kathleen McDaniel Banks. Mrs. Banks is survived by her children, Camillia Lawson of Flowery Branch, Charlotta (Wilburn) Norris of Jefferson, GA, Christy (Mark) Sanders of Lula, GA; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Jennifer (Doug) Beaver of Braselton, GA; brother, Joel (Darlene) Banks of Gillsville, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was born on March 29, 1950 in Buford, GA and was a 1968 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. Mrs. Banks was retired from the Kroger Store on Spout Springs Road with over fifteen years of service in the Bakery Department. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church located in Buford. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Bo Whisnant officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with Judy Lavonia Banks funeral expenses.
