Alma Audrey Seagraves Whitlock

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Alma Audrey Seagraves Whitlock, age 76, of Commerce, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Mrs. Whitlock was born in Gainesville, GA, a daughter to the late William Carlton Seagraves and the late Sara Ruth Graham Seagraves. Mrs. Whitlock was a Letter Carrier with the United State Postal Service and was member of Blacks Creek Baptist Church in Commerce, GA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitlock preceded in death by her husband, Toney Rogers Whitlock, son, Tony Scott Whitlock, brothers and sisters, Elmer “Frog” Seagraves, Joan Hernandez, Sheena Propes, LuCreda Addis and Sarah Crowe and seven half brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Shell (Amy) Whitlock of Athens; brothers, J.W. Seagraves of Neese, George (Sylvia) Seagraves of Gainesville; sister, Jane (Charles) Garrison of Commerce; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

In accordance with Mrs. Whitlock’s wishes, her remains were cremated and no services are planned at this time.
