Michelle Coggins Carter

Michelle Coggins Carter, age 52, of Newborn, GA passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Coggins. She is survived by her mother, Judy Ogletree Moore of Buford, GA; spouse, Michael Smith; sons, Robbie Miller of Woodstock, GA, David (Katrina Mathews) Carter of Loganville, GA, Allie Smith, Michael Smith Jr.; niece, Leslie Young; nephews, Caleb Cook and Karson Coltharp; grandmother, Evelyn Hardee of Stone Mountain, GA; grandchildren, Aubrey Carter and Emma Carter.

Ms. Carter was born on March 16, 1972 in Tucker, GA and was a 1990 graduate of Berkmar High School. She was the Office Manager for 15 years at Casey Tree Experts. Michelle enjoyed spending all her free time at home playing with her granddaughters and dogs, Lucy and Avery. On Saturdays, you could usually find her at BINGO with her peeps.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
