Ms. C. Lynn Bloodworth

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. C. Lynn Bloodworth, age 74, of Talmo, Georgia who entered rest Sunday August 18, 2024. Ms. Bloodworth was born in Athens, Georgia the daughter of the late Paul Bloodworth Sr. and the late Nelle Pethel Bloodworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great nephew, Aiden Espina.

Ms. Bloodworth retired from Gold Kist/Pilgrams Pride where she was employeed right out of high school. Lynn loved her coworkers and would spend time with them outside of work anytime she could. She was a member of Talmo Baptist Church where she spent many days volunteering at vacation bible school, tending to the children in the youth/baby rooms, and leading the GA’s youth group. However, Lynn most loved being a caregiver ,or second mom, to all her nieces and nephews as well as her great nieces and nephews. Lynn spent all her free time traveling around to each kids school events or helping all of the kids however she could. She loved her family with her whole heart and she showed that by how much time she spent with all of them.

Survivors include: two sisters, Debra DeLong (Tony) of Gainesville, GA, WynnElla Rogers of Talmo, GA, and brother, Paul Bloodworth II (Penny) of Talmo, GA. Seven nieces and nephews, Brian Mooney of Gainesville, GA, Marty Bloodworth (Den) of Commerce, GA, Jessica Richardson (Lee) of Jefferson, GA, Jeremy Bloodworth (Kristin) of Buford, GA, Dallas Oliver (Chad) of Gainesville, GA, Mack Parks of Pendergrass, GA and Jenni Lyn Espina (Ronnie) of Jefferson, GA. Great nieces and nephews, Taylor, Tyler, Caleb, Jacob, Addy, Chantz, Cheyenne, Joshua, Ethan, Ezra, Kole, Jacob, Lola, William, Harlyn, Tinsley, Alec, Maverick, Scarlet and Caraline.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Talmo Baptist Church with Pastor Derek Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. prior to the service at Talmo Baptist Church. Honored as pallbearers are nephews and great nephews.
