Janet Bradley Mitchell

Janet Bradley Mitchell, age 84, of Atlanta, GA passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Edwin Charles Mitchell; sons, David Charles Mitchell, Jerry Light; parents, Barney and Sophie Burnetle Bradley; four sisters; two brothers. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her children, Debra (John) Longo of Atlanta, Lori (Steve) Neese of Canton, GA, Donna (Dean) Wallace of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Travis, Austin, Megan, Bradley, Daniel, Preston, Mason, Claire, Jackson; great-grandchildren, Reza, Amelia, Kenzie, Ryker, Lorelai, Charles. Mrs. Mitchell was born on August 9, 1940 in Griffin, GA and was a 1958 graduate from Griffin High School. She was retired from Emory Clinic as a supervisor in Billing after twenty-five years of service. Mrs. Mitchell was a Christian and a member of Hamilton Mill Christian Church. She enjoyed playing games, was an excellent seamstress, loved music, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved all of her family very much. Memorial Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Hamilton Mill Christian Church. The family will receive friends at the Hamilton Mill Christian Church on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hamilton Mill Christian Church 3809 Sardis Church Road, Buford, GA 30519) in honor of Janet and Edwin Mitchell.
