Timothy “Tim” Nelson Hooks

Timothy “Tim” Nelson Hooks, age 61, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Nelson Hooks; his mother, Gurtis Hooks.

Mr. Hooks is survived by his children, Kristie Stith of Cleveland, GA, Timothy Ryan Hooks of Gainesville, GA, Cynthia Hooks of Sugar Hill, GA, Jonathan Streetman of Braselton, GA, and Ashley Shaner of Buford, GA.; Eleven grandchildren; sister, Lisa Hooks of Sugar Hill, GA; brother, Phillip Hooks of Red Level, AL; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Hooks was born September 5, 1962 in Greenville, AL. He was a 1980 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. Mr. Hooks was a retired Electrician. He loved fishing.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
