Martha Mae Coker

Martha Mae Coker, age 76, of Dahlonega, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Mrs. Coker was born on January 10, 1948, in Lumpkin County, to the late Wesley and Mary Lois Helton Cantrell.  She worked as a custodian and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Coker; brother, J.T. Cantrell; and nephew Kyle Martin.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Shane Coker (Helen); granddaughter, Ella Grace Turner; brothers, Earl Cantrell (Lynn Dale) and Marvin Wayne Cantrell (Vickie Nix); sisters, Shirley Shubert (Doug), Janie Potts, and Beverly Martin.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 9, 2024, at Town Creek Baptist Church.  The Rev. Phillip Robinson and the Rev. Darin Cain will officiate.  Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
