Bonnie Sue Staton age 81, of Cleveland passed away Thursday August 1, 2024.
Mrs. Staton was born in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Roy and Eddie Sue Mitchell. She retired from the Hall County School System as a lunchroom manager. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir and loved reading.
Survivors include her husband, James Peffer Staton, Cleveland; sons and daughters in law, Randall Brian Dean (Shawn), Mansfield, GA, Allen Steve Dean (Missy), Stockbridge, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Henry Fred Mitchell (Zelma), Steinhatchee, FL. sisters, Janice Mitchell Morrow, Steinhatchee, FL, Sylvia Mitchell Gaston, Ocala, FL, sister and brother-in-law, Royce Mitchell Green (Doug), Fort Walton, FL. grandchildren, Amanda, Lawrenceville, GA, Evan, Grayson, Monticello, GA, Ashley, Siara, Spencer, Autumn, McDonough, GA, Lisa (Stacy), Cleveland; great grandsons, Caleb, Cleveland, GA, Dresdon, Sebastain, McDonough, GA. There are also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Matt Stowers and Rev. Mike Irvin will officiate. Interment will be at County Line Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
