Terri Leighann Jordan

Terrie Leighann Jordan, a certified medical assistant with BJC, passed away on July 25, 2024, in Athens, GA. She was born on April 26, 1964, in Commerce, GA. Terrie was a beloved daughter, sister, partner, and step-mother whose kindness and dedication touched the lives of many.

Terrie was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class 1982. Her commitment to helping others led her to a fulfilling career in the healthcare field as a certified medical assistant at BJC. Throughout her professional journey, she exhibited compassion and empathy towards all those under her care.

In her personal life, Terrie was known for her gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her significant other, Louis Neglun; step-daughter, Phyllis Bryan; sister, Rhonda (Michael) Jackson; two grandchildren; as well as surviving family members Julian D. Sharpton (step-father) and Marie Porter Sharpton (mother).

Terrie was preceded in death by her father, Oliver L. Hill, and her sister, Felicia Hill Wilson. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and selflessness that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

May Terrie Leighann Jordan rest in peace knowing that her memory will live on in the hearts of those who cherished her presence.
