Raymond Allert “Al” Faircloth, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather joined his wife Joyce and their sons, Greg and Joey, in Heaven on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Al was born to Raymond and Beatrice Faircloth in Evergreen, AL on May 12, 1936. He grew up in Chickasaw, AL and upon graduation from Vigor High School attended Auburn University. He graduated in 1962 with a degree in Industrial Management. Al had a long and successful career with MSA (The Safety Company) and upon retirement enjoyed researching his family’s genealogy and becoming a Master Gardener. Al is survived by daughters Bethany Gilliam (Tony) of Marcola, OR and Theresa (Ron) of Big Canoe, GA; grandchildren Alyssa Gibson (Knox), Alexander Kazmier (Sonserea), Christopher Kazmier, Brandon Gilliam, Noah Faircloth, Lily Faircloth, and Joshua Faircloth; as well as two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Grace.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
