Lynn Carol Ketchum

Lynn Carol Ketchum, 76, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Born December 23, 1947, Lynn was raised in Orange, New Jersey and had been a resident of Gainesville for the past 20 years.  She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville with her family.  Lynn was a wonderful cook and her family was absolutely the most important part of her life.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lois Scott and sister, Sharon Mazet.

Surviving are her children, Darryl Douglas of Gainesville, Arthur Jay Martin of Cleveland, Dawn Baus (Paul) of Gainesville; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; niece, Juanita Stadnick of New Jersey; other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church.  Dr. Charles Blackstock will officiate.
