Judy Marie Sheffield Pilcher

Judy Marie Sheffield Pilcher, 68, of Dawsonville went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 22, 1956, Judy was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.  She was a 1974 graduate of Dawson County High School and member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Judy enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and gardening.  She was a simple Christian woman who lived her life for the Lord and her family.  Judy was preceded in death by her father, Edward “Abe” Sheffield.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Rodney Pilcher of Dawsonville; mother, Dorothy “Dot” Sheffield of Dawsonville; children, Nathan and Stephanie Pilcher of Woodstock, Hayley Southers of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Jacob Pilcher, Luke Pilcher, Colton Southers, Cooper Southers; great-grandson, Tesyn Pilcher; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Kathy Sheffield of Dawsonville, Ronnie and Jonnie Sheffield of Dawsonville; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Dennis Bottoms will officiate.  Interment will follow in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 27 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
