Nancy Lorine Keheley

Nancy Lorine Keheley, age 84, of Cleveland, GA, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024.

Mrs. Keheley was born April 2, 1940, in Lithonia, GA to the late Anderson Teal and Birtie Haye Teal. In 1978, Nancy moved from Tucker, GA to Cleveland, GA, where she worked for WR Grace for 8 years as an Administrative Assistant. She was later employed as director for the White County Recreation Department and would serve as activities director for Huntington Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Gary McElroy and Otis “Pete” Keheley; siblings, Carl Teal, Inez Teal and Gracie Bell Teal.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Misty Keheley, Randy and Crystal McElroy, and Andy and Laura McElroy; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Mike Parsons; sister, Betty Ann Couch; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren also survive. Nancy is also survived by her constant companion “Gypsy.”

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, July 29, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Monday, July 29, 2024, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Flowers will be acknowledged however the family requests that memorial donations be made to the following charities: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
