Jost Amaral Leite

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jost Leite, who left us peacefully on July 19, 2024 at the age of 78.

Born into modest beginnings in Brazil, Jost embodied the true spirit of resilience and dedication. Despite the challenges of his early life, he grew to become a beacon of strength, compassion, and generosity. His life story is a testament to the power of perseverance and love.

Jost devoted himself tirelessly to ensure a better life for his family. He was a proud father and he loved to tell stories about his children. As a loving husband, he shared a profound and enduring bond with his beloved Bella, filled with countless moments of joy, support, and unwavering commitment. Together, they created a loving, nurturing home.

Beyond his immediate family, Jost extended his kindness and support to his seven brothers and four sisters. Even from afar, he remained a steadfast pillar of support, always finding ways to uplift and assist them in their pursuits.

Friends and family remember Jost for his infectious smile, his generous heart, and his courageous spirit. He enjoyed simple pleasures, found joy in the company of loved ones, and was always there to lend a helping hand or an encouraging word.

Jost's legacy continues to live through his children, grandchildren, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him. While our hearts are heavy with his loss, we find comfort in the cherished memories and the lasting impact of his extraordinary life.

A celebration of Jost’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
