Irving Halsey Brain, lll

Mr. Irving Halsey “Hal” Brain, III age 71 passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Emory University Hospital.  Mr. Brain was born in Greenville, SC to the late, Irving Halsey Brain, Jr. and Kathleen Babcock Brain.  Mr. Halsey was self employed doing remodeling and was a US Air Force veteran.

Mr. Brain is survived by his wife, Cathy Fouche Brain of Nicholson; children, Grady Huston Brain (Katie) of Oxford, Irving H. Brain, IV (Lashae) of Jefferson, and Katie Head of Jefferson; six grandchildren, Molly-Kate, Emma-Grace, Huston-Liam, Finn-Taylor, Gavin, and Adeline; brother, David Brain of Stanford, CT; and sister, Cindi Gann of Fort Myers, FL.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 5-7 PM.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
