Barbara York Miles

Barbara York Miles, age 80, of Baldwin, Georgia, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

Mrs. Miles was born on March 7, 1944, at The Charm House in Clarkesville, Georgia, to the late Robert "Dick" York and Catherine Goss York.

Barbara graduated from South Habersham High School in 1962, where she made lifelong friendships. She was of the Christian Faith and was also a homemaker. Barbara will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, known as "Nana."

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Eddie Miles, of Baldwin; daughter, Angela Highsmith, of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Katie-Claire, Patrick, Allison, Becket, Penelope, and Eddie; brother, Bobby York, of Baldwin.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2024 at the funeral home.
