Brenda Ann Seabolt Hicks

Brenda Ann Seabolt Hicks, born on September 21, 1941, in Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024, at the age of 82 in Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson, South Carolina.

Brenda was a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, partner, and friend. She is survived by her son Eric Jerome Hicks, his wife Toni Hicks, and their children Anna Cathryn Hicks, Enoch Paschal Hicks, and his life partner, Caitlin Wright. Brenda is also survived by her son Brett Ferrell Hicks and her devoted partner Al Adams of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Brenda cherished her close relationships with her "sisters" Gina Masters and Lawanna Bryan.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Enoch Jerome Hicks and her youngest son, Mark Andrew Hicks. Additionally, Brenda was predeceased by her father Loy Seabolt, her mother Lucy Seabolt, and her paternal grandparents Andrew and Carrie Seabolt.

Brenda's warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Services to celebrate Brenda's life will be held at the Anderson Underwood Funeral Home in Dahlonega, Georgia, on July 20, 2024, at 10:30 AM EST. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM EST.
