Earl McClure

Earl Dean McClure, age 68, of Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 14th, 2024. He was born on November 10, 1955, to the late Earl and JoAnn McClure.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, parents, father in-law, sister, and brother.
Earl is survived by his beloved family; mother in-law Ruby Abernathy; sister in-law Patricia (Danny) Robinson; daughter Deanna (Tommy) Turner; son Daniel (Cindy) McClure; five grandchildren Samantha Carter, Kristen (Dakota) Bays, Justin (Danielle) Turner, Shawn (Abby) McClure, Jake McClure; five great-grandchildren Skylar Carter, Daylyn Bays, Kaden Bays, Addyson Turner, Hutson Turner. He has several special friends especially his former boss, Tony and Cheryle Williams who have become family to all.
He loved his family dearly. Most of all he was a sports fanatic from racing to baseball. Nothing made him happier than spending time with loved ones, sitting watching ball games, sharing stories about the past and present, and hearing about whatever was happening in their lives. It was truly a blessing from God to have him in all of our lives.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to each and every one that has played a part in his care and the many special friends that he has made over the years.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church. With Rev. Nathan Nix, Jacob Cantrell, and Rev. Robert Abernathy will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery where he will be laid to rest. The family will receive friends at Barrett’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17th starting at 10:00am up until time of service.
