Dwenda Ann Slater Barton Bales

Dwenda Ann Slater Barton Bales, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 following an extended illness.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born on September 4, 1951 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Ruth C. Slater. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Barton and Mitchell Bales.

Mrs. Barton is survived by her daughter, Tina Langston of Commerce; son and daughter in law, Scottie and Kelly Barton of Lula; son, John Barton of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, McKalan Langston, Katie Barton, Luke Barton, Brady Barton, Hailey Barton, Cooper Barton and a number of other loving relatives.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Rd., Gainesville, Ga. 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
