Jarvis Garland Stowers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jarvis Garland Stowers, who peacefully departed this life on July 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 3, 1960, in Dahlonega, Georgia, Jarvis was the beloved son of Lynette Stowers and the late David Arnold Stowers. He was raised in Lumpkin County and spent his later years in Forsyth County, where he made an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Jarvis was a man of many passions and talents. He loved hot rods and was the proud owner of a sleek black 1965 El Camino. His love for fitness led him to a career as a professional wrestler and bodybuilder, where he earned numerous accolades, including winning the 1999 Space Coast Body Building Championship. Known as “Rock Regal” he wrestled alongside famous wrestlers such as Larry Santana, Bob Armstrong, and Mr. Wrestler #2, creating unforgettable memories in the wrestling world.

For the past 25 years, Jarvis dedicated himself to helping others achieve their fitness goals as a personal trainer. He was known for his compassionate, non-judging nature, and he took immense joy in sharing his love for God. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was admired for his unwavering devotion and kindness.

Jarvis is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Marlene Stowers; mother, Lynette Stowers of Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law Clarence and sister-in-law Tina Stowers, Dahlonega; sister and brother-in-law Tina Stowers and Jeff Helton, Gainesville; sister, Deborah Fowler of McDonough; nephews Will Stowers, Tucker Stowers, and Roman Stroud; niece Shannon Fowler, along with several other nieces, nephews, and relatives who will deeply miss him.

A celebration of Jarvis's life will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ricky Stepp officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.
