Sandra Dee Hayes Smallwood

Mrs. Sandra Dee Hayes Smallwood, 64, of Dahlonega, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Frankie Spivey and Rev. Mike Gaines will officiate. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 29, 1959 in Greenville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late James Virgil and Betty Blackwell Redmon. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smallwood was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Smallwood and sisters, Cynthia Dyer and Brenda Shoemake.

Mrs. Smallwood is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Tiffany and Derek Long of Cleveland, Jessica and Ryan Toms of Gainesville; daughter, Jennifer Smallwood of Dahlonega; sons and daughters in law, Troy and Tonya Hayes of Dahlonega, Trae and Brooke Hayes of Dahlonega, Andrew and Kelly Smallwood of Dawsonville, Devon and Shelly Ledford of Commerce; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, James Redmon, Jr. of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.

Flowers will be accepted.
