Kay Frances Sherwood

Mrs. Kay Frances Sherwood, age 85, of Homer passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Mrs. Sherwood was born on August 27, 1938 to Mr. Albert and Mrs. Esther (Nelson) Thieman in Elgin, Illinois.

Mrs. Sherwood is survived by her brother Ralph and two children David and Rick and her 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John, sister Alice, son Jeff and daughter Debbie and grandson Jonathan.

Kay will be laid to rest with her husband at the Sarasota Florida National cemetery.

Kay enjoyed playing tennis, pickleball, garage sales, playing cards, golf cart rides, playing bingo and always had a smile on her face. 

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will bloom eternally in the hearts of those she has left behind.
