Elaine Jaskolski

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Elaine Jaskolski, age 91, of Jefferson, Georgia, who entered rest on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Mrs. Jaskolski was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Warren) Shefski. Mrs. Jaskolski was a professional figure skater as well as a teacher and judge for multiple professional figure skating clubs in Michigan. She was also a Realtor for 20 years in Mississippi and Georgia. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a devout Catholic. Mrs. Jaskolski is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Joseph Jaskolski, Jr., brother, Robert Shefski and granddaughter, Julie Jaskolski.

Survivors include a son, David Jaskolski (Karen) of Jefferson. Grandchildren, John Jaskolski of Alpharetta, Jessica Jaskolski of Athens, and Pate Sheppard (Brionna) of Jefferson. Three great grandchildren, Harper, Raylan alnd Blake. Two nieces, Nancy Shefski of Sevierville, TN and Laura Benton of Gulf Breeze, FL. Nephew, Brad Wagoner of Jackson MS.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday July 8, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bill Schubring officiating. Burial will follow at Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
