Cindy "Rae Rae" Holman LaFrance

Cindy "Rae Rae" Holman LaFrance, 57, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on June 30, 2024. Cindy was born on July 25, 1966, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late James Holman and the late Janie Shealey Holman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Garrett LaFrance; siblings Jamie Green and James Holman; and Riley LaFrance.

She is survived by her sisters, Donna M. Holman and Patty H. Holman of Dahlonega; nephews and nieces James C. Holman, Kimberly Holman, Jamie Bowen, Scarlett Scott, and Jackson Sullens; and a very special aunt, Patricia S. Lewis. Numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

Cindy loved sitting down with a good book and watching her favorite crime shows. Her dog and best friend, "Jethro Leroy Gibbs," held a special place in her heart. Cindy cherished her family, especially her nieces and nephews, who always held a special place in her heart. Known for her generosity, Cindy would help anyone in need, but she was not one to be crossed. Her humor and ability to light up a room will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Her nephew, Jamie Bowen, will officiate. All family and friends will have an opportunity to speak during the service. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

In a fitting tribute to her adventurous spirit, an ascension service will be held at a later date, where Cindy's cremated remains will be interred in outer space.

Cindy will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
