Rodney Patrice Davenport

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Rodney Patrice Davenport, age 62, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024. Mr. Davenport was born in Winder, Georgia, a son to Mrs. Fannie Davenport and the late Mr. Talmadge Davenport. Mr. Davenport was a member of the Miracle Deliverance Holiness Church in Commerce, Georgia. Mr. Davenport owned and operated the Metro Cleaning Service, and was a graduate of Jefferson High School and Gainesville Junior College. In addition to his father, Mr. Davenport was preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Davenport.

Survivors include his wife, Antoinette Davenport of Commerce; daughter, Brianna Davenport of Woodstock; son, Rodney Antwone Davenport of Commerce; mother, Fannie Davenport of Jefferson; sister, Tyounder Ofori of Athens; brother, Darren Davenport of Jefferson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Patman presiding.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
