Reverend Samuel Wade Dale, Sr. of Gillsville, Ga. Passed Away On To Glory To Receive His Heavenly Reward On Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

His Loving Wife Peggy Cash Dale Was At His Side As He Stepped Into What He Referred To As “That Perfect Place”.

He Was Born On April 16, 1940, The 13th Child Of Sam And Hannah Brock Dale.

Rev. Dale Was The Pastor Of Spoken Word Church In Lula For 52 Years.  He Traveled To Canada, Jamacia, The Philippines, Brazil And Ireland Preaching The Gospel Of Jesus Christ. His Ministry Has Impacted The Lives Of Many People All Over The World. 

He Loved Hunting, Fishing And Gardening, But Above All He Cherished Having His Family Around Him.

Rev. Dale Is Survived By His Wife Of 66 Years, Peggy Cash Dale; Sons, Rev. Wade (June Thomas) Dale; Terrence (Lisa Lance) Dale; A Daughter, Anna Roberts (Richard), Grandchildren: Josh (Lia Kinigakis) Dale Of Flowery Branch, Matt (Brittany Mathis) Dale Of Martinez, Hannah Dale, Zackery (Anna Gailey) Dale, Abi Grace, Thomas And Lily Roberts. Great Grandchildren: Harrison Grissom And Deanna Dale, Ace And Ansley Dale, Hudson And Kambry Dale. His Surviving Brothers Are, Reverend Marshall Dale And John Dale.

Preceded In Death By His Parents, Sam And Hannah Brock Dale, And His Siblings, Omie, Mollie, Lorine, Margie, Eva Perdue, J.C. Dale, Nervie Turpin, Merle Sims, Mildred Lewallen And Jean Whitehead.

Funeral Services Will Be Held Saturday June 29, 2024, At 2:00 P.M. In The Chapel Of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Wilson Will Officiate.  Interment Will Follow In The Pine Grove Church Cemetery In Gillsville, Ga.  The Family Will Receive Friends At The Funeral Home Friday June 28 From 2:00 P.M. Until 4:00 P.M. And Again From 6:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M.
