David William Grubb

David William Grubb, 61, of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at home with his wife by his side.

David was born January 13, 1963 in Akron, Ohio to the late Richard Grubb. Along with his father he is preceded in death by his sister, Jois Hankison. David worked for Elring Klinger as a maintenance technician. David was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Desert Storm as a part of his 11 year career.

He met his wife while he was stationed overseas and they were married 40 years. He was a devoted father, and told his children how proud he was of them, and told them, he loved them often.. David enjoyed traveling with his wife, going camping, fishing, and golf. He was a big fan of NASCAR, Georgia Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Braves. He touched many lives with his generosity, and his infectious sense of humor. He loved his 2 dog babies but not the cats.

 David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eva Grubb of Gainesville, his son Kevin Grubb of Kansas City, his daughter and daughter-in-law, Jess Grubb and Danielle Quesenberry of Chattanooga, his daughter Maddie Grubb and her boyfriend Jeremy of Emerson, his mom, Helen Grubb of Gainesville, his sister, Kathy Johnson, his three brothers; Robert Grubb, Paul Grubb, and Rick Grubb, and his niece, Stevie Hankison.
