Ryan William Nelson

Mr. Ryan William Nelson, age 39 of Avalon, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

A son of Jayne Frick Snell and William Lee Nelson, he was born June 12, 1985 in Euclid, Ohio, having lived most of his life in Stephens County.  He was a 2003 graduate of Stephens County High School.  He owned and operated Auto Body Repair and was a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church.  He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, baseball and drag racing. 

Survivors include his parents, Jayne and Kerry Snell of Avalon, Georgia and William and Debbie Nelson of Gumlog, Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Olivia Nelson of Avalon, Georgia and Sara and Adam Waters of Suwanee, Georgia; nephew, Landyn Brown; nieces, Leah Waters, Paige Waters and Quinn Waters.

Memorial service will be Friday, June 21, 2024, 6 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
