Myrna O. Zimmerman

Myrna O. Zimmerman, 83, of Dacula, GA, died Friday, June 14, 2024. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Craig Dale will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, June 17, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, in memory of Myrna. Myrna was born to Leonard and Bernice Smith O’Neal on July 19, 1940 in Thomaston, GA, who are deceased. On February 11, 1989 she entered into marriage to William Zimmerman who survives along with the following children; Karen Morgan, Grovetown, GA; Kim Brown, Marietta, GA; Melissa Vogan, New Bern, NC; Doreen Thomas and Dan Zimmerman, both of Buford, GA. 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sister Sylvia Richardson, Macon, GA and Edwin O’Neal of Greensboro, GA. Myrna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed doting on her grandchildren. Her talents included flower gardening and arranging; designing and sewing unique ladies apparel and making a home a home for all her family to enjoy. She will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends.
