Peggy Bowles Hill

Mrs. Peggy Bowles Hill, age 78, of Maysville, GA died, Friday, June 14, 2024 at The Oaks at Scenic View in Baldwin. She was born in Commerce to the late, Franklin Summie and Minnie Dell Leachman Bowles. Mrs. Hill was retired from Blue Bell as an Inspector and a member of Homer Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Eric Hill.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her sons, Joel Hill (Karen) of Homer, Matt Hill (Michelle) of Maysville, and Adam Hill (Ronnie) of Statham; brothers, Carson Bowels of Commerce and Donald Bowles of Danielsville; sisters, Dell Cowart of Statham, JoAnn Teague of Jefferson, and Deborah Bowles of Americus; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 17 at 11 AM at the Chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Mealor officiating. Interment will follow in Homer Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 to 11 AM.
