Mary Louise Smith

Mary Louise Smith, 80, of Flowery Branch GA, passed away on June 7th, 2024.

She was born on November 22, 1943, in Davidson County North Carolina.

Mary was preceded in death by her husbands William H. Smith and Lee F. Durham II, her mother Lena Mae Puckett Culler, her father Robert Lester Culler, her brothers Robert Clendon Culler and Claude Ramey Culler.

She is survived by her sons Lee F. Smith (Angela) and Robert H. Smith; grandchildren, Mycah Fraser, Donavan Workman, Andrew Smith, Megan Oubre, and Lauren Oubre; great-grandchildren, Will Fraser, Chase Fraser, Adeline Fraser, Brodie Fraser, and Alaster Workman.

Mary attended Trinity High School in Trinity, North Carolina. She worshipped at Maranatha Baptist Church in Oakwood, Georgia.

Mary enjoyed sewing, vacations to the beach, watching NASCAR races with her husband Bill, riding Gold Wing motorcycles, and spending time with her friends. She never missed a chance to dress up for Halloween to surprise her grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2pm, Friday, June 21, 2024, in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at 1:30pm, Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Georgia National Cemetery. Rev. Rod Bell with officiate. The family will receive friends 12-2pm, Friday, June21, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
