Paula June Mayhue Dial, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, at the age of 67 passed away peacefully at her home, in Conyers, GA, on May 30, 2024.
Paula June was born on January 9, 1957 in Atlanta, GA. Paula June was highly intelligent, full of life and love and never met a stranger. Her outgoing personality ultimately led her to a career in retail services. After many years working at Winn-Dixie as a bookkeeper, she took a leap in 1996 and established a PostNet franchise, as owner and operator in Conyers, GA. She ran and maintained a very successful business for 28 years; her work ethic was unparalleled.
She provided so much joy and laughter to her family, friends, customers and to the community of Conyers, GA. She also loved to travel, going to the beach, as well as Costa Rica brought her an abundance of happiness. She was very giving to those who surrounded her and her mantra was to do all things with “ease, joy and glory”.
Paula June was preceded in death by her father, Edward “Ed” Junior Mayhue and her mother, Murlee Demastus Mayhue. She is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth and husband Travis Tallant, her brother Richard and wife Mitzi Mayhue and her sister Arlene and husband Skip Calloway. Her grandchild Autumn Tallant, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family of the late Paula June wishes to express our sincere appreciation for all the prayers and words of encouragement during our time of bereavement.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in a Stateroom of Flanigan Funeral Home.
