Melissa B. Anglin

Ms. Melissa B. Anglin, age 59 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, May 29 2024 at Emory Hospital Midtown.

            A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

            Ms. Anglin was born May 7, 1965 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a graduate of North Hall High School, then later went on to graduate from Miller Motte College.  Melissa worked as a hairdresser for over 30 years.  She loved her children unconditionally and had a great love for her dogs; Milo, Bella, Bentley and Luna.

Ms. Anglin is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frances and Elmer Hooper, her grandmother, Evylene Baird and her grandfather, Ira Lee Baird.

            Ms. Anglin is survived by her children, Seth Anglin of Gainesville, Hunter & Kathryn Anglin of Beaufort, SC and Daniel Anglin of Gainesville, her mother & step-father, Carolyn & Jr. Sisson of Gainesville, her father, Randall Baird of Braselton, her brother & sister-in-law, Kevin and Rita Baird of Braselton, her niece & husband, April & Devin Beauchamp of Jackson County and her nephew & wife, Kyle & Danielle Baird of Jackson County.
