Argalus "Bill" Gray

Argalus “Bill” Gray passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.  He was devoted to loving Jesus and learning more about Him.  Bill was also devoted to his wife of 67 years, Mary, and his family.

Bill had many talents and hobbies from stamp and coin collecting to small engine repair.  Before officially retiring, he enjoyed delivering motor homes all over the United States with his beloved wife.

Bill was an active member of Beaverdam Baptist Church.  He faithfully attended Bible study and services each week.  He also loved going to the Banks County Senior Center.  Bill was very loved and involved with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mary Gray; sons, Mike (Diane) Gray of Minneapolis, MN, Ron (Terri) Gray of Beech Grove, TN and Greg Gray of Commerce; daughter, Karen (Brian) Johnson of Commerce; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Brian and Karen Johnson, 316 Hwy 59, Commerce on Saturday, June 1 from 1 to 3 PM.  The Celebration of Life service will follow at 4 PM at Beaverdam Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Crawford officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Benevolent Fund at Beaverdam Baptist Church.
