Hideko Grisham

Mrs. Hideko Grisham, age 87 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Mrs. Grisham was born October 30, 1936 to the late Takeichi & Fumiko Matsumoto Nishiyama in Kure, Japan. An avid bowler, she participated in many women’s and mixed leagues for forty years. She enjoyed gardening and was actively involved with the Navy Wives Club and Navy Relief Society.

She is survived by her sons, John Grisham & Jerry Grisham; sister, Mikie Kaji; niece, Kumiko Kaneyama; grandnieces, Rinko Kajikawa & Koko Kaneyama; great-grandnephews, Yushi Kajikawa & Chihiro Kajikawa; and longtime best friend, Sachiko Morgan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lieutenant Commander Onis Hick Grisham (1982).
