Daniel Carithers

The Father’s garden is full of beautiful flowers. He walks through and plucks those whom he loves. On May 21, 2024, Mr. Daniel Carithers joined the Lord's bouquet. Daniel was born on August 3, 1938, in Winder Georgia to the late S.T. Carithers and Katie Simmons. Daniel was also preceded in death by Mother - Katie Simmons; Sisters - Evangelist Rosa Rose, Annelle (Charles) Hester, Frances and Wanda Simmons; Brothers – Lee Allen, Charles Lee (Cora) and Lonnie Simmons; Nephews - James Preston Rouse and Michael and Renardo Hester; Nieces - Betty Lucinda Hester and Valarie Harris. Daniel joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at a very early age. Daniel was a dedicated, determined and dependable member. Daniel’s greatest joy in life was attending Church every Sunday. He also looked forward to going to the Winder Adult Senior Center. Some of Daniel’s favorite activities included: watching sports, especially basketball, writing and drawing. During the last year of his life while living with his nephew, Chris. Daniel bonded with the dog – Sophy. Daniel leaves to cherish his memory: Nephews – Robert (Jackie) and Joe Lewis (Ivy) Rouse, Chris, Milton (Tammy) and Tony Hester; Niece – Rose Maria (Eddie) Moon and Special Sister-in-law – Carolyn Ansley. They along with a host of great nieces, nephews and friends will miss him dearly.
