John David Glick

Mr. John David Glick, age 80, of Jefferson, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at Braselton Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to follow at 6:00pm in the Garden of Remembrance at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Vander Wal officiating.

Mr. Glick was born to John Curtis Glick and Martha Marr Glick in Mobile, Alabama on April 2, 1944. Mr. Glick earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University, and was a retired Personnel Systems Manager with the Federal Government. Mr. Glick served in the United States Army and was a member of 12 Stone Church of Braselton. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Mr. Glick is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan Knight Glick, his daughters; Dawn Dickson (Dave); Rachel Toy (Shane); Becky Miller (Jon), sons; Richard Glick (Cathy);Chris Flynn (Jen), grandchildren; Cooper Hoffman; Berkley Hoffman; Beau Hoffman; Cambell Hoffman; Brody Hoffman; Kennedy Dickson; Thomas Dickson; Prince Miller; Jae Miller; Harlee Rose Miller; Christian Flynn; Jacob Flynn; and a brother; William Glick (Victoria).
